Will be in Little Rock the 13th & 20th, Rogers area the 14th-19th. We're pretty easy eaters, not much we won't try. Any suggestions?

Can't remember the entire name, but Mama's in downtown LR has great plate lunches and rolls that rival Lambert's Cafe.

In Rogers for Mexican there's an Abuelo's on Walnut, a PF Changs at Pinnacle Promenade as well as Fish City Grill for seafood. Lots of chains of course, on restaurant row by Lowe's, you'll find Colton's, Chili's, Copeland's,On The Border and a bbq joint and Italian.

All of these are in LR:

Whole Hog Cafe
Gus' Fried Chicken
Sonny Williams (if you want a nice steak)
Damgoode Pies (excellent pizza)

There was a plate lunch place mentioned. It's named Your Mama's Good Food. That being said for a plate lunch meal I would recommend Homer's in Little Rock (out by the airport) or BJ's in North Little Rock. For a great deli sandwich go to Argenta Market or H.A.M. (Hillcrest Artisan Meats).

Then make your way a few blocks over to the Flying Saucer.

Chains will be ignored. We rarely eat at a chain. Much prefer local places.
