I lived there about 15 years ago, when I was a poor kid so I never had the means to eat good there. Wife wanted a quick get a way this weekend and I found a room on Pensacola beach.
WYG?

Grand Marlin and Hemingway's are both good options on the island. Global Grill in Pensacola is my favorite.

Thanks, global grill looks like a good option. Any reviews of the fish house?

I enjoy Surf Burger every time I'm on the island.

Just go to Global Grill and don't look back. Tell her your buddies on the F&D Board said so.

The other couple that is going with us has a 2 year old. Will they be pissed if we bring him there?

Been to global, was really good. Better than expected for what we went in to. Would recommend, but don't expect world class dining, still great though.

Not a place for 2 year olds though. Think Stroubes or IPO

Hemmingways - get the Tenderloin Churrasco. You'll thank me later. I would drive there just to get that dish again. One of the best things I have eaten in my life.

Fish House is a zoo. Avoid at any cost. Global Grill is my favorite too.

Jaco's, down at the south end of Palafox, right on the water is pretty good.

We enjoyed Peg Leg Pete's. Sit down stairs if there's a guy playing music. Go walk in the back and see the boats unloading catches. Cool place.
