I have a 18" WSM and a normal charcoal grill. I think I want to cook at my house for friends tomorrow but can't decide what. For grilling I'll have everyone bring what they want, but what should I smoke??
My first smoke was a pork butt. Second was ribs and wings. Not sure if me or my smoker is ready for brisket... But I guess there's only one way to find out.

What say ye FDB'ers?

We'll have all the above save the htown's loin and the salmon.

Brisket, Boston butt, ribs, chicken, hamburger, hotdogs and tenderloin?

I might just drive up there.

Salmon is easy. I'm smoking a brisket using the Franklin BBq method starting late tonight. Etch his videos on YouTube...good stuff.

And I thought this may be helpful or those who have not seen this:

I agree. Brisket is tough to get right. Practice it before you try going public with it.

The only reason Ham said not tomorrow is because he wants to be here when I do it. But I agree. Don't think tomorrow is a brisket day.
I think I'll do Htown's stuffed pork loin and possible ribs on the grill. Along with sausage and other stuff

Briskets and butts are long smoke cooks. You want to impress your guests? Make ABTs! Jalapeno peppers stuffed and wrapped with bacon and grilled. A fantastic appetizer!!! Google ABT(Atomic Buffalo Turd)for a recipe. YOU WILL NOT HAVE LEFTOVERS! I like to glaze mine with a spicy honey glaze right before taking them off the grill.

Enjoy!!!! I know you will.
