Otterbox has released new designs for their Armor series for iPhone 5. Pretty cool for fishing, hunting, hiking, etc etc to protect your phone.

Otterbox link

ETA:

New Lifeproof coming out for iPhone 5 as well. Lifeproof link

Wonder how it'll compare in size and durability compared to a Lifeproof. I've had Lifeproof's on my past 2 phones and I've been very happy with it. Also wish they had pics showing how you can access the power cord and headphone jack.

They're huge. Makes the Iphone 5 a good bit bigger than my Galaxy S4 in an Otterbox Commuter Case.

Durability is better than Lifeproof but they are also huge cases.

I like my lifeproof but the sensor keeps screwing up when I'm on the phone

I learned my lesson with my first camo phone case around 2003. It fell off the truck bed.

Needless to say, I never found it.

From looking at the link more I'll just stick with the Lifeproof, don't really see any reason to switch. It's more expensive and larger in size.

5.4” x 2.6” x 0.5”

5.51" x 2.97" x 0.70"

I have one for my SG3 -- very big and heavy, BUT works great. I only put in on when fishing, frogging, hunting, on beach...etc

This will be my next case. You can get them for under $70 on amazon.com.

Not sure if this applies with the Otterboxes but I'd be weary of the cheaper Lifeproof cases that you see on Ebay/Amazon/Etc. I bought a couple off Ebay for $50 each, they came in boxes that looked identical to the Lifeproof box etc. It just felt different from the $80 Lifeproof I had bought from $50 and when I compared them side by side there was a few differences. I kept it but was real leary of what I did with it. It ended up falling apart after about 3 months.

That Guy Harvey case is Fratastic. Would be sweeter it were Salt Life.
