Brad Wing punted 8 balls in a game 5 times in his 23 game career, I look for Keehn not to see that much action this year. With the arrival of Cam and his 80 plays per game goal, Keehn should not be called on as much. With Burgers & The Offensive Gang all returning they will do their best to keep Keehn off the field.

Well, that's a good point, but with our offense, Wing was a huge weapon.

This is a very different year.

We have a real, extraordinarily talented OC that I think Miles will allow to run things his way. If Miles will become more of a CEO, this thing could be big.

We can wish, but history doesn't support our wish.
The thing that makes me feel we do have a shot at it is that Cam and Miles are contemporaries and Miles has some degree of trust in Cam already from past experience. 60 more days and we will see if our wish is more than a pipe dream.

Ummm, what about last year. Last year's offense was very different from the years before. Example, the year before we did nothing against Bama in two games. Last year we were throwing the ball all over them.

But in a way you're right; we won the national championship neither year...no change.

So because we hired a new coordinator you think our offense will be better? You're silly. You gotta be a young fan.

From what I've heard, he may not even be the punter.

Who then? He looked pretty good in the backup role last year

Brad Wing did an excellent job, and I'm sure Keehn will do just fine. I just don't want to see Keehn on the field 8x in one game...

our offense has been diff. the o changed under every coordinator. First off we threw the ball way more last season than the previous 3. 2011 offense wasnt bad. last years wasnt the worst weve seen, that goes to 2002. o line stays healthy and some new comers to the recieving game, dont see why we wont see something diff. esoecially since we changed coordinators.

lol okay. he was the punter last year when wing was hurt. he did better than wing on occasion. we dont give schollys to kickers that arent going to kick.

I'll say this again: I find it hard to believe Cam Cameron would have taken a job at LSU to run a rinky dink offense that will do nothing for his coaching aspirations. If this guy has any desire to get back to the NFL, or even be a head coach in college, he's not going to want a last place mediocre offense on his resume.

Just my two cents.

We have given several scholarships to players that never kicked. We gave 2 in one year not long ago but the only one of those two you remember is Jasper.

Keehn looked great last Sept and had the best punt of the season. This spring he looked average and competition was wide open. He is the only one who has played before but he isn't the locked in starter yet.

Lets quit glorifying Wing because of what he did two years ago. Last season he was very average and people forget it. Now he will probably end up unemployed because he isn't too bright.

But I wouldn't mind seeing him score a TD without taunting the opponent (except Alashama of course.)
