Voting tonight, fans and store owners are stating their case, pleading for the Yotes to stay.
Tough to watch, I want them to move to Seattle, but I like the Yotes and these fans are leaving it all on the council table right now.

I've been watching this meeting. It's pretty interesting (if you have a dog in the fight). I would guess that they are going to stay in Phoenix and Seattle will get an expansion team in a couple of years along with Quebec.

Sounds like the city wants to vote on the deal with the 5-year out clause (which will pass). RSE won't agree to the 5-year out clause. RSE wants them to vote without the 5-year out clause (which will be a close vote).

The NHL set the deadline to today. Who knows if they stick to that though (seems like a lot of things change). If it does fail though, it's almost for sure a done deal to Seattle. The only other possibility is Quebec City.

This councilman has some good points.
Such a huge risk for the city to take, no back out clause, 15 years whether it's successful or not owing 15 million per.
