What's good for lunch here?

Don't they have a cheap martini wet lunch special? Looking to start partying early tomorrow

TIA

The menu changes with the seasons and what's fresh at the time. There are some perpetual dishes. I love the shrimp henican app. Everything I've had there had been excellent though I'm not crazy about the oysters in puff pasty app. I've only tasted someone else's and thought it could have used a little more seasoning. Don't fill up on the garlic bread. It's addicting. Turtle soup is very good if you like that. Report back.

I believe there's now a limit on the number of martinis. Might be 3. I read that somewhere. Maybe on the site.

The sauce is what makes the shrimp dish.

Gris it's okay if you post to me ya know. I don't have any ill feelings or anything .. it's the internet. no big deal. just a thought, I noticed you never respond to anything I post. hope to reconcile that.

yeah it says that on their site .. I wonder if that type of place would actually enforce it though? maybe if you're getting out of hand or something it gives them an out..

Had lunch there about 2 weeks ago and they didn't limit us to 3...

The sauce almost tastes like a pepper jelly to me

The first time I ate there I was surprised that they had any heat in the dishes. Most fine dining establishments don't use that much heat.

I tried to tell that to my friend who insisted on ordering 16 dollar glasses of pinot for her birthday on my dime.

Looking over the menu, the 2 course lunch special is a pretty good deal.

The lunch in general there is a good deal. In fact dinner is a good deal. It's just that most people go the whole 9 yards when they go to an establishment like that.

If you really wanted to you could get out of there pretty cheap.

I haven't been since last year during restaurant week when there was a killer deal. Turtle soup is still subpar though .. too much sherry .. don't care what anybody says.

I'll take a stab.

They pour the sherry at the table. You can tell them how much you want. If that is your only complaint on the turtle, then that's a YOU problem....

Just what I was going to say. They even have on the menu that sherry is poured table side. Next time tell them how much/little you want.

bullshite. I want them to serve it like the chef thinks it should be served. I'm not there to make decisions for the kitchen.

Ralph's On The Park, while not a very good restaurant overall, has the best turtle soup I've ever had. and it comes how they decide.
