My parents gave me the option of getting a class ring when I graduated from LSU in May. I talked them into letting me get another gun. The difference between the 700 dollar 1911 i have and this is insane. Couldn't be happier.

Yeah it's a run of the mill 80 series GI style gun. It isn't bad honestly and I wanted a gun I could learn to work on. Could have got a Taurus or RIA or maybe a low end kimber at the time but I wasn't exactly sure what I was doing so the remington was bought and has been a bedside gun and plinker since..

That assault tax stings. But its the only way we can get those unregistered and illegal gun shooters to help compensate the government for the damage they do to society.
