I did this once on a borrowed bulldozer trying to clear a lot, and I bulldozed over a hornet nest, was the end of my bulldozing career

Good rule of thumb, if you are doing something new with machinery, GoPro it...

Wood prices are down but 50 trees is nothing to sneeze at. If you just want the lot cleaned ask the loggers to swap out the timber for them to clean the mess up.

No mills in our area takes short wood anymore

this happened before that magical piece of technology luckily

never been in complete shock on what was happening to me, i'm glad i made it out alive.

A buddy did that in a open tractor, went back the next day after he got out of hospital in a enclosed cab d-8

i've done it twice, once on the bulldozer(it was a small one not a d8) and once weedeating under a magnolia tree i stuck the weedeater up in there and it was like a thousand needles poking me.
