TigerBru17 and I talk about this all the time. This movie was so solid and it held up so far. I still laugh and quote it all the time. When its on I at least watch for a few

Watched that again this weekend. I really liked that one, but a lot of people didn't see it (or haven't heard of it even). It's pretty solid.

After McLovin catches the bum and the fight starts at the party, the rest of the movie is pretty much forgettable.

Whaaatt? The party at Jules was awesome with McLovin

As was the "i love you" conversation between Evan and Seth and the morning after. The conversation about the tight jeans was some great dialogue

I am in t he minority on this, but the cops were the worst part of this movie. I'm not the biggest Seth Rogen fan (he's okay though), and I don't really like Bill Hader at all.

The only part with the cops I like is when in the middle of an irelevant conversation the radio keeps interrupting over some major shite going down.

Upon "OH MY GOD THERE'S SO MUCH BLOOD" Hader turns it off.

Subtle jokes like that are always my favorite in Apatow comedies.

Another similar moment is in Forgetting Sarah Marshall when you hear Hader yelling his arse off into the phone while he is talking to Marshall

"Yeah, it was between that and Muhammad."
"...WHY THE frick WOULD IT BE BETWEEN THAT AND MUHAMMAD?! Why don't you just pick a common name like a normal person?!"
"Muhammad is the most common name in the world. Read a fricking book for once."
"Fogel, have you actually ever met anyone named Muhammad?"
"Have you actually ever met anyone named McLovin?"
"NO THAT'S WHY YOU PICKED A DUMB frickING NAME!"
"frick you."

Alright the cops are getting a little too much hate in this thread right now, slow the bandwagon down a little.

They were still funny, and being the weakest part of one of the funniest movies of all time (IMO) is nothing to be ashamed about

hahahahha

that and when they are trying to get a description of the guy how robbed the store IMO

when they talk about how they thought crimals jerked off at every crime scene was funny too

Me and my friends love and quote this movie so fricking much that I got actively pissed reading this thread bc so many people said lines wrong by like a word or two

"I felt like a pimp... Like one of those pimps"

Its one thing if someone butchers a line, but if youre complaining about a word or two, youre the problem, not them

I liked it a lot and I graduated in 99(same year as American pie). Wasn't nearly as over the top as AP (save forthe cops). It's nowhere near the level of D and C though.

In retrospect I think can't hardly wait is the better 90s high school movie.
