Get out of town and go to Latil's Landing at Houma's House. Have some cocktails in the Turtle Bar beforehand. One of the best dinner experiences in the state.

I've been there about half dozen times. I love the atmosphere, perfect for a date/ special occasion. Menu is extensive despite a small place. Loved every entree I've had whether beef veal quail whatever. Great if not perfect, service as well

+1, get out about an hour early and enjoy the turtle bar and grounds. Restaurant has 3 rooms, each room has 5-6 tables, very intimate...

Beausoleil, Stroube's, Mansur's, French Market Bistro, Digulio Bros, Nino's, Gino's

Oh.... and Latil's Landing was the right answer.

Beausoleil has great food. It's one of my favorite places in town, but if you're looking for something really romantic it's not exactly the spot.
