Hearing from a trusted source that Tyreke Evans could be signing an offer sheet with the New Orleans Pelicans by as early as tonight.

If Gordon is truly unhappy, I like this move a lot. Evans has potential to be very good. SAC is like the Raiders of the NBA.

If the offer is in the $7-8mil range, do the Kings have the space the eat the remaining difference between the 2 contracts?

I cant get on board with this if Tyrekes deal is $10mil+

I don't think its really a size issue. I mean, he could, but apparently he's said he doesn't want to play SF

His twitter profile says he used to write for the Sacramento Paper so he probably has legit sources regarding Tyreke.

The Kings have about $10 million in cap space so if you're asking can we get Tyreke for $8 and have them take back Gordon, the answer is that works financially.

So if he doesn't want to play sf and we are getting him to be a starter, would this imply a straight up sign and trade with Sacramento? If so, I couldn't see EG being too thrilled to play for that shitastic organization.

Interesting.

As we learned last year with Gordon, if Evans signs the offer sheet, Sac can no longer do a S&T.

They have to match within THREE days, not SEVEN like it used to be, or let him walk.

The threat of this may open them up to signing a S&T.

Dell knew this was gonna happen, that why they passed on McLemore, knowing the Kings would draft him. Dell is genius

Holiday/Rivers/Jackson
Evans/Rivers/?
Iggy/Miller
Davis/Ryno/Smiht
Asik/Davis/Smiht

Tremendous defensive lineup but it definitely lacks some offence

Per USA Today writer:

@sam_amick 1m
The New Orleans Pelicans made a lucrative, four-year offer to Tyreke Evans in last night's meeting. Story to come.
