Ate there this weekend while visiting my buddy who lives there.
Final verdict: Super hood, super good.
Bars on the windows, Security guard always present. This time they had coke, last time I went they only had faygo products. I got the rib tips and sauce on fries. It is about 8 bucks and y ou get a ton.

I'm all in favor of some good soul food from time to time, but I'm not interested in risking my life for some BBQ. No thanks.

No doubt. I've driven past it but at a quickish pace.

The restaurant or Jackson itself?
Speaking of Bailey Ave, is the tamale place still up by the dead mall on Woodrow Wilson and Bailey?

Ohhh, from Google maps it appears they are in the old Seattle Drip place. I'll make a point to stop by next time I'm in J-Town.
