the shangri-la of football tactics

one of the reasons im excited about the start of the new season is the difference in approach and tactics from warnock to mcdermott. we looked much more organized in those few games BMc managed at the end of the year...kept the ball on the ground more. ross mccormack played the diamond position and looked comfortable as opposed to being forced out wide under warnock.
warnock tactics - 'see ball...hoof ball...chase ball...' he got some games right (everton, southampton, tottenham in the cups) but that was more of the team rising to the occasion and the elland road atmosphere more than any particular tactical move.

if i find a place to download full matches, i'll definitely dive in. i'll blog at Germerican Football™. or Germerican Fußball™. haven't decided.

I've written 3 or 4 very lengthy tactical analysis posts and literally nobody acknowledged them except for crazy or wm.
