Saw where Alleva was asked his thoughts on the 12'-13' athletic year and he called it a year of what ifs. Not a successful year or disappointing year did he call it. Just a year of what ifs. His previously stated goals were be "not about winning championships but being in a position to compete for them". Based on that, I would say it was a successful year. So if you are a coach at LSU, how would you take the what ifs assessment?? Why not say all our teams enjoyed varying levels of success in 12'-13' and our coaches are to be commended for having their teams in the hunt at one point in the year. Don't bemoan the what ifs in public when your set goals were met. Just my worthless opinion.

It's the approximate length of the Championship trophy presentation platform. Alleva doesn't know exactly and he didn't want to call Mal Moore to find out.

Not that hard to figure out. I just would not like to be told my expectations are to be in the hunt for championships then open the advocate and see my boss playing the what if game.

What if Aleva had been doing his job and advocating for LSU, JUST ON THE SEC-SCHEDULING-BULLCRAP???

What if Aleva had not taken a TENS OF THOUSANDS OF FAN MONEY FOR HIS POCKET?

What if we get serious and get a REAL LSU AD?

Just sayin'.....

I'm guessing you're not applying that same die hard spirit to correct grammar usage.

You are one of the most ignorant trolls I have ever seen. Your comments on here and in the comments section of pieces in the Advocate speak for themselves. I am sure everyone else agrees with me.

Joe Alleva is an idiot for making a public statement like that. He is right there with Miles in the nut house....
