Shouldn't matter. There isn't a roster spot designated for a team offense.

The individual player gets the touchdown in every other fashion. If you just so happen to have that player, you should get the points.

Because those touchdowns happen on offense. Does a kicker get credit for a 2 pt conversion?

How about in baseball when my pitcher hits a HR. does he get credit? Nope, he's out with the defensive unit.

If you want to create scoring for different units, lets ask RTSports for a team offense spot. I want to double up on Rodgers and the Packers offense.

Should be put to a vote.

People's stances on this issue aren't going to change. Just have a vote to decide if more people prefer it the old way or the new way.

Why should he? If he's not kicking then he shouldn't get points.

Re: the pitcher doesn't get a hr because he's not in your offensive lineup. He's designated as a pitcher.

A football guy being in your lineup is universal. If he makes a TD you need to be rewarded.

That's like saying a RB shouldn't get credit for a TD pass if he throws one....."We'll he's not a QB!!!!!! "

agreed. you shouldnt be able to have the same player in your lineup twice. i.e. WR and DT/ST

And if that's the case, take the TD away from the unit and give it to the indidual player

that's fine, as long as one player doesn't get credited with the same TD twice

How is say, Leon Washington the same player as a D/ST?

What if he lines up for the kick and takes it in around the corner?

Baseball isn't a great example, but neither is this. Harvin isn't designated in fanatsy as WR/PR or WR/DST, just WR. I don't think WR is universal. If he makes a TD, you're rewarded for drafting or picking up the unit he made the TD on.

MWG, I'm sure we'll have a vote. I thought we did last year and the vote was 8-6.

That's better than double dipping, but you're taking value from an entire unit to up the value of a few weapons.

It's not in the scoring to allow that. If it was I'd be all for it

A RB isn't designated as a QB but he still gets points for a TD pass. He's not designated as a WR yet can catch TD passes. A WR and QB can run TDs in, but they aren't RBs

That doesn't make them the same

Defensive scoring is so forced anyway. Both should get points but if only 1 is, it should be the player

All part of the same unit and none of those positions would yield two TD for one player.

And I'm not for diluting the value of a unit to do so if we only awarded points to the player.

the RB is not throwing the TD to himself and scoring two TD's on the same play

I would say eliminate ST scoring from the DT/ST position and limit it to defense only.

I would also love to eliminate kickers. ir did we do that already?

But they share a TD the same way a D and player would on a Defebsive or ST touchdown

It's more of an assist than a share
