Thought about that one but the entire Teenage Head album is great. It's very... Wait for it.... Underrated.


Slit skirts is the only Pete solo song I really like.

Too bad TLB broke up, fell apart, whatever. Their two hits, Ballerina and Renee, were distinctive enough, and their pianist was reputed to be some sort of genius composer/arranger. Woulda, coulda, shoulda, I guess.

These bands were about a decade apart and their hometowns were a thousand miles apart... but they kinda remind me of each other:

From the 90s: The Connells - '74-'75


From the 80s: The Northern Pikes - Dream Away (tell me you couldn't imagine them singing "Slackjawed")
