That´s a great photo. Carlo´s already working the ´mano izquierda ´. If anyone can get something out of Kaká, it´s going to be him. For sure.

We´ll see. I´d be over the moon to see a recuperated Kaká. Even 90% of that level would be great (any lower than that, I don´t see him seeing premium playing time, there´s too much quality on this side).

Illarramendi now training with the squad.

*Note his hair

Either the situation demands it, or someone in the club´s told him about it. Whatever, he´s back to a normal hairdo (instead of that okupa looking shite).

I never post on the soccer board and am not a die hard soccer fan...but I'm going to a Real v. Lyon match this week. Anyone have any idea if the real starters will actually play? I imagine it should be a bloodbath.

Well, to answer your question, you will probably see a lot of players play. There are no limitations on substitutions, and being that Lyon is where RM got Benzemá (I wish they´d return what was paid and take him back), there´s probably some type of star appearance clause or something of that nature, in an agreement between the two clubs.

Steve Nash knows football (fútbol).

Yeah, I figured Benzema would play. I talked to some locals and they absolutely hate him. Me being a Barca fan, I will probably be boo'ing along with the rest of the stadium when he is announced. It should be fun though, I've never been to a European match before.

I mean RM is likely contractually obliged to put Crostiano, Özil, Iker, Sergio, etc.... on for awhile, whether or not Ancelotti wants them out there.

I hope you're right, that would be awesome to see them all play. But I am also going to Real Madrid v. LA Galaxy next week when I get back to the States. So I would imagine I'll get to see them play there. Super random that I'll get to see them twice in a 8-day span.

Law?

Should be a decent lineup. No one apart from Marcelo and the Spaniards has an excuse to miss (and La Liga starts late enough for it not to matter as much). I wouldn't imagine that it'd look too much different than their lineup against Bournemouth today.

Always. Preseason is only good for watching teams play 1/4 speed and them beating the shite out of completely overmatched opponents.
