Pretty cool pictures meshing scenes and characters from Batman and Batman Begins.

Maybe its nostalgia, but I liked the look of Batman better in the Burton films. Looking back, the new batsuit really was meh. Wish they had kept it like it was in Begins. (Yes, I know they had to create a way for Bale to turn his head)

Both iterations have their problems, but the biggest difference is that Keaten actually had presence as Batman.

the presence as a dwarf in a costume. Bale was much more intimidating physically.

Physicality is a small aspect. Bale may be bigger but he also comes off as goofy and needing a lasagne. And I'm a big fan of Bale and was elated when he got the part.
