Hopefully one of these guys can become a contender on the PGA tour. It was fun watching toms when he was in contention week in and week out and winning a few here and there, but it's looking like he may be nearly done.
Also hope they can represent lsu the way toms has. One of my all-time favorite tigers, and great person to boot.

Peterson has averaged the 3rd to lowest scores on the golf.com tour. If he keeps up his current pace, he should make the PGA tour for next season. He just needs to play in more tournaments. His PGA events put him a few tournaments back from most other golfers.

Peterson is currently 59th on the Golf.com tour money list. You need to be in the top 25 to make the PGA tour. The biggest reason he is so low is that he has only 7 Golf.com tournaments because he has played in 6 PGA events. I believe he is pretty much done with PGA events for a while so he should be able to make his way up the money list in the golf.com tour. Like I said earlier he is 3rd in score per round, he just needs to continue to play.

Sorry it's the Web.com event. If he gets top 25 he's automatic or I think if he wins 2 Web.com tourneys he gets in as well.

I was wondering at the beginning of the year if Peterson would not use sponsor's exemptions and just focus on making Top 25 on web.com tour so he can get PGA status. Obviously he couldn't pass up the two majors, but I hope missing out on those tournaments don't end up costing him this year.
