Went to a really good hole in the wall restaurant down there. Great Mexican food but don't remember the name. Be safe down there, I wouldn't go down there without a weapon.

I wouldn't know where mcallen was except I'm reading black list right now and its in there. That being said I can't help at all.

Umm...I wouldn't be so sure. I do a lot in the valley and it's changed tremendously in the last five years. Just eat Mexican and you can't hardly miss. I don't get too fancy when I'm in the area.
