Is anyone surprised that Howard is leaning toward not signing with the Lakers?

He never seemed comfortable there. He doesn't like the pressure, Kobe is mean to him, etc.

Rockets fans, what do you do with Asik if you sign Howard? Do you think he and Harden make you better than the Thunder?

I'm shocked at the Lakers begging him to stay. You are the Lakers you don't get players to stay

Howard has said that he wants to play in the same lineup alongside Asik, which would lead to similar problems he had in LA with he and Pau being more comfortable in the paint.

I hope he signs with Dallas. He, Dirk, and not much else would be a ~6th seed/first round out. I have a feeling we won't see the Dwight of old again, but even if he plays like he did last year, he, Harden, Parsons, and Lin would be pretty scary, especially if Motiejunas pans out and helps space defenses.

Lakers have a shitty cap. Kobe is coming off of a ruptured achilles and Nash is a 43 year old lesbian. It's refreshing to see Lakers struggle.

Kobe Bryant is a crappy teammate.

They don't use the one player who is a great offensive threat.

They don't have a strong bench.

The only good thing about playing in L.A. is getting the chance to hang out with Jack Nicolson.

Dwight just wants to go somewhere where he can giggle on the court and not be yelled at.

Not that it would surprise me but did he really say that?

they're in a much worse position than they were in 2005.

Winter: Houston. Howard is reportedly attracted by the idea of playing next to Omer Asik and doesn't like offensive systems built around the pick-and-roll. But neither aspect should matter to the Rockets once Howard signs on the dotted line. Assuming he plays good soldier, Howard is a great fit on both ends for a young team built for the long haul. Let's hope he realizes it.

Howard and Asik would clog up the paint on offense so much. Harden loves attacking the rim.

He's so dumb. I'm still a fan of his game and think he will return close to form but man, he is an idiot if he thinks he fits well next to Asik.

Agreed. I think he's soft and is not motivated enough. Shaq >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Howard

Not suprised, He's a terrible fit there.

It seems he prefers to be the Man on a bad team, that way he doesnt really have to try too hard or take it too seriously. I think he's a bad fit for any playoff team that plays high pressure games. Orlando was probably a good place for him.

I'm so sick and tired of Dwight Howard. He is the biggest baby back biyatch out there. He will be a cancer to any team he goes to. He needs to go to Toronto where he can be the man, score 30 and grab 15 per game and beat his chest like he is the shiz.

They need a star to build around. Kobe is old and just had a really bad injury.
