Damn.. just damn.. I knew the kid was a sleeper to jump up high during the draft (he is just a really safe pick), but that sucks..

No. Just fricking no. We're another EG injury(very possible) an AD injury(possbie) from finishing in the lottery again and then who knows what happens. I don't care who the Pelicans want number one, no one in this draft will ever make an all-nba team. Next year's draft is the most loaded since 2003, if there's even a 10% chance our pick next year is top 5 no way in hell you trade it. And there's a much bigger than 10% chance

Plus who exactly are the 9 teams or so we're DEFINITELY jumping next season? Most other bad teams have a lot of cap space and young developing players too. That's why they're bad. The thunder, aka the team we're trying to emulate, spent the first two years after durant in the lottery. And anthony davis is great and all, but he's no durant

Its not that farfetched....cavs are trying to make this pick seem like its worth an aldrich or a love caliber player...they thought lebron would never leave even after bringing in mo williams. they thought they would win a championship before miami....outside of charlotte is there really a worse ran FO

Sacramento under the Maloofs?

They sold low on Thomas Robinson about halfway through the season, getting Patrick Patterson, Toney Douglas, and Cole Aldrich in exchange for him, Francisco Garcia, and Tyler Honeycutt.

ESPN just did an oral history of the 2003 draft and almost half of it was how stupid memphis was for doing a trade that cost them what should've been a top 5 pick in that draft. If we frick around and lose a draft pick that ends up being wiggins, parker, or randle it's a fireable offense

Exactly, anyone that thinks that our FO would seriously consider that trade must be smoking that good good.

Dell was asked about Eric Gordon's future as a Pelcian. he responded by "looking pretty good right now"

Id love to get 2...any chance we can buy a lottery pick next year instead of missing on a big time free agent....that would be cool.
