I also heard very positive reviews for this movie. Supposed to be a really scary, old-school horror movie.

This looks legit. From what I have read they did a great job with it. Pumped.

You mean, debunked the Amityville horror right?

If not, then the Warrens are charletons.

Look up some of their other "cases." Of course they are charlatans. They tried to defend a murderer by claiming that he was possessed by a demon.

Look, this movie may be good (I love good horror movies), but the based on true events shtick and somehow using the Warrens as an example of legit paranormal research is bullshite.

They had several other cases that were less publicized but more serious in nature and much more paranormal activity, this is one of them

They are the most respected duo of paranormal investigators

That's them. Lorraine is (was) also a regular brought in by that guy on Paranormal State.

"Paranormal State"

I like a lot of the paranormal shows but am not a big fan of this series. Paranormal Witness is scarier and much more interesting. The "A Haunting" series is really good as well. I wish they'd make more episodes.

I dont understand how they bill this as the ppl who investigated the amityville horror "and" the haunting in Connecticut. You can debate whether the amityville thing really happened. But unless i am wrong, the Connecticut connection was just a made up movie script.
