avoid the buffets, there are far to many awesome dining options in vegas to waste your time at one of the buffets.

Yea I was there 1 1/2 weeks ago and it was miserable hot. It felt like being in a furnace and didn't cool off much at night.

you should check this site either before you leave or right when ou get there. There are some tour guides that can show you around

LINK

Oh and there will be some very nice Mexican men and women on the streets that will want to hand you a business card for some of these tour guides. I would suggest you collect as many of these business cards as you can and give one of them a call. What do you have to lose?

I cant remember the name for the life of me but theres an italian place someone around the bilagio because we walked to it. its about 30 bucks a person but you get great bread and really good meal and a great coffee desert. i hate coffee and it was amazing. tasted like the best hot chocolate ive ever had. But the best part was its free house wine all you can drink. it was good wine too.

someone will know what im talking about

also went to the hoffbraugh (sp?) house. the food was fine nothing special pretty expensive but the beer was great and the atmosphere was amazing

Best time to go to Vegas IMO is in March, either for first weekend of March Madness or Sw16/Elite8 weekend.

Weather...comfortable, not yet hot

March Madness in Vegas... unbelievable

We went this year for the S16/E8 weekend, and that will forever be when we go to Vegas each year (during the NCAA tourney)

serious tip , since you seem to be a complete loser amateur. when paying for the hooker only have the money that you agreed to pay her out. say you you left your wallet in your friends room and all you have it said cash, and hide your wallet and rolex.

Any suggestions?

Also, we want to take a day trip to the Grand Canyon/Hoover Dam. Are we better off driving there ourselves (we will have a rental car) or it is better to take one of the bus tours?

If they still do the Hoover Dam tour where they take you below I thought that was pretty cool. But it's been probably 15 yrs ago when I did that.

Don't waste your time and $ driving in Vegas...especially if you're only there 3 days.

The Grand Canyon is over 4 hours from Vegas. Not sure how much you would use a rental car because once you drive outside the Vegas city limits there isn't a damn thing but desert for a long arse ways.
