1. Cleveland - Nerlens Noels
2. Orlando - Victor Oladipo
3. Washington - Otto Porter
4. Charlotte - Alex Len
5. Phoenix - Ben McLemore
6. New Orleans - Trey Burke
Analysis: Here's where things really get tricky. If Porter or Len still are here at No. 6, I believe the Pelicans will draft either one of them. If both players are off the board, the team has to move onto Plan B. While Bennett might be tempting, the Pelicans do need depth at the point guard position and will struggle to let Burke slide. Michael Carter-Williams also could be in the mix here.
7. Sacramento - C.J. McCollum
8. Detoit - Anthony Bennett
9. Minnesota - KCP
10. Portland - MCW

Burke is the most likely.

I'm REALLY hoping that Washington can buy a 3 from someone so that they'll take Bennett.

I don't necessarily want Porter as much as I want Bennett off the board by the time we pick.

I dont buy Porter to Washington.

They are on record as saying Webster is a priority. He's still only what, 26? Is Porter an upgrade for a team in win now mode?

Meanwhile their frontcourt is Nene, Okafor, Seraphin/Singleton? Old and injured, old and expiring, meh. Bennett makes the most sense there. A young scoring 4 with 3pt range is what they need.

Wall/NeNe pnr with Beal/Webster/Bennett spotting up will be lethal. Still have Oak/Nene to anchor the defense

Of course we are talking about the Wizards, so they will probably draft McLemore or Burke.

Worst case scenario IMO.

Wizards fans at RealGM got scared the other day when they heard about the Oak and #3 for Deng deal, as that's the kind of stupid shite their front office really would do.

Why? Burke is a perfect fit for Monty's offense

Not sure how this will affect the draft or not, but Houston dumping TRob is imminent.

quote:

The Rockets are in advanced talks on a cap-clearing trade of forward Thomas Robinson, with a deal potentially “imminent,” a person with knowledge of their plans said on Tuesday.

The Cleveland Cavaliers and Chicago Bulls have shown interest in Robinson, according to another individual with knowledge of the Rockets efforts to move Robinson’s $3.5 million salary next season. The Bulls may be interested in Robinson as part of a larger deal, the individual said.

San Antonio had been interested in Robinson but the teams are not in talks about a deal. It would be difficult for the Spurs to make any sort of deal for Robinson directly with the Rockets and would likely have to add a third team in a larger deal.

The Charlotte Bobcats have been shopping Michael Kidd-Gilchrist. Potential that he is moved on draft night. #NBADraft

So do they not like MKG or are they hoping to draft Oladipo?

If the Bulls take Robinson, I'd have to think the idea is that Houston takes Rip Hamilton's $5m deal and waives him, meaning they pay out $1m in guaranteed money and free up $4m in room.

It's not that I dislike the idea of drafting Burke, and I think he'll be a good player in this league? But I don't think he has as high of an upside as the guys that go 1-5 in this scenario. Plus, I think Rivers takes a huge leap forward this season.

I'd really like to see us draft one of these four: Oladipo, McLemore, Porter, or Len. Was hoping one would drop to us.

Then trade Ego for Cousins. Maybe we can score a few more UK Wildcats.

Some guy on espn just had us picking Bennett over Burke

Eta: nevermind, looks like he was just putting him in the board to talk about him. That was confusing

I'd imagine we'd have to take back a bad contract. Tyrus - COME HOME!
