this. no one is playing on mute so they can scream about noobtubers, dropshotters, and quickscopers thru their kinect 2.0

I bought one, but I it was a lower end one and I don't enjoy having that large thing on my head.
I have bought probably enough plastic ones to equal the amount of a good headset, but I don't really like them.

I hated that shite with the few voice chat games on Wii and I hate it on PS3 when the voices are coming through the TV instead of a headset.

i'm sorry, but if you're buying a $500 console and worried about a $15 mic, you have bigger financial issues and should'nt be purchasing the console to begin with.

Sorry but that's shite you should automatically get when you spend that much on a console that is supposed to be the ultimate online experience.
Its the principle, not the fact that I don't want pay extra for that shite.
Its no different than getting composite cables but no HDMI cables for an HD machine.
Can I afford it? Sure. But getting nickle and dimed like that is still bullshite.

I hate this argument so much. Why should customers be criticized for being upset when there features or accessories that are assumed to be included. How far can they go before it's too much? It's just as bad as when Sony didn't include an HDMI cable in the first batch of PS3s.
Should they remove the wireless too? Sell it to you as an add-on? I mean, it'll only be another $40-50 I'm sure.

But be honest, here. Who even still has their first headset? I broke that little trinket headset about a month after I had it. If you aren't rocking some kind of stereo headset anyway, you're doing it wrong.

As I've said before, mine lasted quite a while. Died earlier this year. Although, I didn't use it as much as most I'd expect. I was given a Turtle Beach headset by a friend since mine broke, and still only use it for party chat. I have no problem and prefer to play without it.

I could forgive no HDMI cable if they would have just added about 6 feet on to that gimpy charge cable that it came with.

The main reason my PS3 barely ever got touched. That left such a poor impression on me, that I never really used the thing.
