The empire strikes back ending?
You mean when they fix lukes hand on the medical frigate
And then luke and leia watch as chewbacca and lando fly off to tatooine?
That's your favorite end to a movie?
Btw. Im a monster fan of the original three

Oh and the original texas chainsaw massacre is an all time best

And actually come to think of it
'The lion king' was neat how they cut out to the title

I don't know how anyone could not know the end of this movie from how much it's been referenced in pop culture.
I probably know it but couldn't attach it with that particular movie.

I get your point but yes the monster twist NEAR the very end I think gives it that. No one cares about that other stuff, it's all about what Vadar said at that point

But I do get your point. And glad to see some agree on seven. Was shocked it wasn't brought up till then.

I think in these types of threads people need to define ending. I think of ending as ,well, the ending or maybe the last five minutes. Some people seem to think it's the entire second half of a movie

oh well

I agree and I am guilty of doing that. These threads usually end up being about best twists or reveals, which can happen at virtually any point, but usually occur near the end.

Vertigo is another movie with a great ending.

I'm curious to see what you thought of The Mist's ending. Did you finish it?

Favorite Movie Ending Ever?

I just found out that Stephen King wrote the book that The Mist is based on. He writes fantastic endings to his books.

But his ending he wrote for 'The Mist' was different than the movie's ending...
