Other than Fournette? I think Fournette is ours and I think we end up with one more back in this class (because of the # of other big time players interested in LSU this year) but who would that be?

I like Recean Thomas from the same HS as Kwon but anyone know if we are recruiting him hard? Also the guy from Broken Arrow committed to Okie State.

I don't think the in state RB's are SEC caliber RBs IMO but they are solid HS backs. Just wondering about the other backs out there that we are recruiting them hard and want as a 2nd RB/ change of pace guy from LF

I wouldn't be surprised to see Darrel Williams get an offer at the next camp or maybe mid-season. He's a RB from Marrero, already got offers from Georgia,Mizzou,Miss State, and Nebraska.

It depends how the board fills out. If Valentine or McDowell takes that 25th spot, then It could just be LF. Upchurch, could get some looks if depth is needed. If Hill and Hilliard both leave will change the board.

Dont forget about McKnight who reclassified to 2014.

I could see us take Fournette, McKnight and Williams...or 2 out of the 3.

I heard that Palelei wasn't that impressive.. The coach I talked to said he was good but not LSU level good

Isn't Palelei mormon? Maybe I'm completely mistaken there.

IF so wont he have to do a 2-year mission trip after high school? Doesnt seem like a worth while signee, at least using that perspective.

not sure? ive never heard this...i know he was interested in Utah and some of those schools but i thought it was because of the high population of pacific islanders there

Lots of those folks are mormon, and he has a BYU offer. It wouldn't surprise me if he is mormon. From what I understand, not EVERY male mormon has to do the 2 year mission trip, but they need a great excuse not to do it. I know BYU usually just runs the cycle on the mormon kids they sign. Most come in the third year after they sign.

I'm sure Memphs or CinciBowtie will be able to shed some light on this

You must be right.... Guess a D-coordinator who has seen some serious talent and won a few state titles doesn't know what he's talking about!

There's a difference between being a "beast" in high school and being an LSU running back

Rumors have it that Racean Thomas is favoring Auburn at the moment....the guy that you are referring to from Broken Arrow is Devon Thomas and we are not recruiting him anymore.

I believe that Darrel Williams or Sione Palelei will get offered and end up in this class...I only expect one of them though and not both

He's Samoan, and he will get an offer FACT

Palelei has cousins at both BYU and UTah, hints the offers, they're kind of pulling at his heart strings.
