Didn't Jaworski have like one good year in a 15 year career? He went to one Super Bowl and now he gets to have an opinion.

He still knows more than anybody on this board by a wide wide wide margin.

same thing was said about Bart Starr, doesn't he have more NFL championships than any other QB? (5)

Remember that this board went into full pissed off mode when R.Wilson was getting snaps with the first team over Flynn.

Jaws also said Aaron Brooks could make all the throws including all the "Stick throws" the Saints needed. Went on to say that for the first time the Saints had themselves an NFL QB.

We all see how that turned out.

Either way, it's up to Flynn to prove he should be a starter b/c TWilson is on his heels.

Wilson already has plenty of experience picking himself up off the ground and pulling turf out his facemask.

Maybe he's not as good as people think he is based on a couple of games.

Flynn's a gamer. Rohan and Flynn didn't ever win the starting position in practice over their major competition, but in games, they shined bright.

They both won the starting position.

Flynn played poorly against Tenn, UGA, MSU, and Iowa when he was brought in. He played well against Miami and his last season here.

meh... I've always been under the impression that M.Flynn is just a really good backup QB to have. He's never jumped out as a starting QB in the league.

couldn't we just put that under the category of a "flash in the pan" moment?

not yet. He threw for 480 yards, 11 ypc, 71% and 6 touchdowns with a rating of 136.4

In his other game as a starter, he threw for 251 yards, 65%, 7 ypc, and had a rating of 100.2

That isn't a flash in the pan moment, that is a franchise record moment

I believe Jaworski was one of the talking heads that agreed that Eli Manning was a bust and the Giants probably would be looking for another quarterback in the next draft. That was in the pre-season prior to his first Super Bowl ring.

I think Flynn has already exceeded most fans football career expectations.

Good luck to him and JR next season.
