Picked up an XDM 9mm like the one in the pic yesterday as part of a trade. Anybody have any experience with them? Don't really need another 9mm so I thought about trying to trade it for a 1911.

They are nice guns, 19+1 is a lot of firepower.

I had one and sold it bc I shoot Glocks better. It was a very nice pistol though.

Me too, but the deal on this one was too good to pass up.

its either gonna be this, the XD, a glock 17, or a sar arms 9mm for my next pistol.

I might just need to buy all 4

This is literally the first thing I think of when I think of the XDm full size. You really get great capacity. Then again, compare that grip to something else and you can see the extra height, not that it matters on a target/SD pistol though.

I have never been able to shoot any XD pistol that well due to the slim trigger and long travel. But I have also seen people shoot these things all day long with success.

Get what you shoot best. And anyone can shoot a 1911 with ease if that's the way you're leaning.

I have that exact set-up (with two additional mags) and I like it a lot. It shoots well and I have about 1,000 rounds through it with zero problems.

had an XDM 9mm and loved it..shot great, but the 19+1 capacity made it a bit heavy when fully loaded IMO. other than that it's a great piece.
