So i just left a 2v2 where me and this guy were owning and had most of the map but lost bc of points.....

There are 3 victory points on the map to control. Ownage of victory points decreases the frequency of depecreciation of your 500 points. Dont let that get to zero.

Well, you can't totally abandon victory points. If you dominate victory points early chances are you (unless you dominate resources and VP) will have trouble late game. My strategy lately has been to dominate resources early and spin that into getting the first armor out and getting the ball rolling momentum wise where I reclaim VP.

the matchmaking really blows in this game. I'm starting out and in like 7 games, I havent faced anything but lopsided odds level wise

Great way to learn how to play though.

Yeah, so I started about 10 games german and lost like 10 games.
Then I switched to Russians, and won a few ina row. I'm back on a losing streak now though.
My strat is basically to go at fuel with engineers and conscripts, then mg, then go mortars and conscripts until I can start building anti-tanks to deal with fricking panzer rush.
Then the tide turns in our favor, but eventually the germans just have too much anti-tank options, and win the game.

You are doing it wrong. Russia has a seriously OP early game right now where they can run the germans off the map. Build the special rifle command right off the bat and then build the sniper and then wait until you have enough fuel to build the M3A1 and then place the snipers in it. Basically you can kite around grenadiers and MGs while whittling down numbers to force a retreat. Add in some conscripts and you are set.

M3A1 with snipers is definitely pretty effective.

I've got to start using Sector Artillery when I'm playing German, that shite killed me. It drops pinpoint artillery on enemies in a specific sector (if you have built the artillery). I was waiting that shite out on the edge of a sector and still getting hit by it, it was ridiculous.

I used sniper car early to great effect, the enemies tried going all pioneer and building bunkers (hadn't thought of that when I played German) to counter but they couldn't get enough munitions to make them all MG nests so I skirted around them and blew them up with Penal Battalion satchel charges and my ally used the Zi3 (both effective). Once we got around them I recrewed a bunch of MGs that I hate sniped out and repelled an infantry wave. They tried throwing flame halftracks at me after that but I had one SU on the field so it didn't work. Just pushed their base with vetted infantry after that.

Where ya at Jefffffffff?
Anyways, this happened the other night. I was pushed up all the way on the left and didn't encounter squat but some infantry. It was then that I decided to peruse the rest of the map and saw a tank battle to end all tank battles happening on the right

played some campaign late last night. became enraged watching my ZIS cannons keep hitting a building in the way instead of German Armor
also did a soviet comp stomp. i suck with soviets or just dont have my BO down. i hate all their armor. even SU-85s. yes i must be bad. i miss playing as germans

There are a preponderance of noobs on right now. Played a game before dinner and it was all under level 20 on my side (Russians). Even though there were a bunch of 60s on Germans I rolled middle lane and dominated with two sniper cars and directed my noobs to triple south. It worked beautifully as we held both fuels spammed SUs
