What happened?

Uncomfortable goodbye and handshakes, Don tells Chaugh that he (Chaugh) is going to Cali.

Roger tells Don he shite the bed, and then asks if it was true. Don says yes.

Don heads out for Thanksgiving holidays.

Nah.

couple scenes in "The Suitcase" were better, IMO. But six of one...

It was carousel part II, it was the first thing that popped into my mind.

God love Trudy.

Pete going to Cali too. Interesting.

And Don out the door. We knew bad shite was coming with the way it's been going. And they bring Duck in. Jesus.

Duck is just a head hunter, the other guy would be the addition.

Well, that was the craziest episode ever

Naw, they used Duck the head hunter to bring that other guy in.

As wildly erratic as Don has always been, its hard to believe a few month bender really justifies doing that to him. I guess its just a sign of how much things have changed since we picked up this world in 1960.

I think Don wants his own agency, especially with the writing on the wall.

ETA: Him and Pete are going to start stealing clients or something to that affect. There are too many hands running the company.

Yeah, but having Duck do it is just insult to injury.

They had a major merger with the firm's biggest rival this year, and it wasn't even close to the craziest episode of the run.

This season was balls to the walls.

Honestly, I enjoyed this season the least. I really think it has a lot to do with the show moving into the 70's. Just such a shite time in America that I don't really care to watch it.

The 50's were great and it was awesome to see the way things were in that period.

I don't think that there's any way they can trust him. He's sabotaged multiple accounts/opportunities since the merger.

The last thing SC&P wants is a focused Don Draper starting his own agency. They surely aren't that stupid.

Joan and Roger pissed me off there.

I think you're going to see a whole new Don next season.

There is gonna be some sort of separation of the company in the next season.

He also is the only reason the merger happened, got them Chevy, and picked up Sunkist.

We haven't seen him actually blow an entire account other than the Hershey one that it was established probably wasn't going to lead to any business what-so-ever. I'm a little unsettled by it to be honest.
