Just got home with a few bags of snapper. I'm going to cook some tomorrow but should I freeze in a bag with water or vacuume seal? I've never vacuume sealed fish.

no put whatever you gonna cook tomorrow in a bowl of ice water, cover it and leave it in the fridge. whatever you freeze put em in ziplocs, fill with water, get all the air out then stick em in the freezer.

I do it both ways and find water better if you have the room.

Not your question, but don't do this with tuna.

Either way is fine, but don't forget about them. Their taste gets bad with age

Vacuum sealed is by far the best way for freezing fish.

There are a lot of fish that do not do well sitting in water.

Does anyone else add a dash of salt to the water, or is that just a myth?
