Mikel passed up a goal with that hesitation. He should've blasted it. Valdes was stumbling.

What's up with Spain's back line? Is Arbeloa at RB and Ramos at CB really better than Pique/Puyol at CB and moving Ramos back out on the right? I always liked Ramos roaming on that right wing. He was fun to watch.

Puyol is old, and hurt.

He´s just been operated on, and thinks he´ll be back to 2009 form. We´ll see.

His rice is overcooked.

his speed at CB is awesome and really pairs well with pique's size. it lets them have a recovery option with the high line

Ramos at RB is an undisciplined wildman. At CB he is more poised, and his passing out of the back shouldn't be discounted.

Arbeloa blows, IMO. I don´t see what all coaches see in him (he always gets on the pitch).

He´s smart, football wise, but slow, and shitty on the ball.

oh.

I like Ramos at CB and I agree he's got tons of pace for a CB, it's just that Arbeloa has never really impressed me much. I guess they just don't have anyone better.

If Nigeria wasn't so terribly uncomposed in the oponents box they couldve scored twice by now
