3-1 LFC over Villa 79th minute.
Trickett-Smith had a great volley in the 19th.
Harry Wilson with the second-half brace.
Canos was subbed off mid-second half. Didn't have a great match. Rossiter and Ryan Kent have both been superb. Kent has bossed the left the whole match.

So..definitely not getting Bertrand as he's on loan to Villa.
I'm a big fan of bringing in January transfers as early as possible, and it feels a bit frustrating that we haven't made any moves really.
At least our competitors for fourth haven't really strengthened either.

Could be very lethal coming forward, my only worry is that Gerrard and Henderson have to be on their game with positioning because Villa is solid on the counter.
ETA: I think I saw somewhere that Villa either had the lowest or second to lowest possession of PL teams so I guess Rodgers is trying to capitalize on that

We need another DM, our backline is atrocious right now and Gerrard just isn't getting it done there.

Looked like absolute shite for 45 minutes. Gerrard looked out of touch and our back line is so panicky when the ball comes close to the box. Lucky to only be down 1 but hopefully we regroup. Wouldn't hurt to bring on another midfielder *cough*Lucas*cough*
