2003' and its not even close. IMO Satan be damned, but we had some pretty pathetic football pre-2000's.

2011 was my favorite too. We manhandled every team but ran out of gas against the beggars.

favorite regular season 2011(TM7) and dominating everyone we came across...making them quit was quite special...we all knew it was a one game season...then it became 2.

favorite season 2003(i thought vincent was a god)clayton was my favorite player. best team defense i ever watched play.

favorite team 2006(Landry, Russell, Bowe, Holliday...team was stacked) 1st round talent everywhere...most talented team in the country that year.

best team spirit 2007(Hester, Flynn, Dorsey...never die mentality. lots of hard working blue collar players.

'03. It made us legit nationally and put the process in place for us to be successful many years into the future.

The one my family first had season tickets: 1969. We lost a close game to Ole Miss, and won all the others.

2001. We had just started to taste a little success again after enduring the 90's, and then they go and beat the Vols in Atlanta to knock them out the title game and win the SEC.

1982 , I know LSU only went 8-3-1 but damn that was a strong team. Awesome defense , and who could forget the dalton James gang. Not to mention Alan Risher who was very underrated.

'01. I began following LSU football circa '89 and it was just brutal being a Tiger fan until '01. I can recall the first Independence Bowl in the 90's and actually being happy we made it to any Bowl. My how far has LSU football come since those days.

Fun team to watch. Lost a couple we should not have, but always exciting that year.

2000, no doubt. Resurrection of the program.

Luckily I wasn't there for UAB, but Rohan, Reed, and Saban seemed like super heroes that year and the Tennessee game is the best one I'll ever see in Tiger Stadium. Even Booty showed up and helped us beat Miss. St. and the vaunted Joe Lee Dunn defense. We finally beat Bama in TS, which was the greatest thing about the Saban era, as year-by-year all of our embarrassing history and infamous streaks fell, and we even capped it by beating Ralph Friedgen's Yellow Jackets in the Peach Bowl with what else but mythic performances by injured Rohan Davey and Brandon Winey.

'96 and '97.

Good seasons with the marquee win over UF in '97. My favorite because I wasn't used to us winning, so even the victories vs average to below average teams were nice, and I didn't take the losses nearly as hard as I take them now.

2007 for me. As a Saints fan too, that is the only season where my team went in knowing they should win it all, and actually do.
Plus we beat the ever living shite out of VA Tech which is always a plus in my book. And the UF game was something else
