If only Fulham could have held on to tie Liverpool. What a great day though!

I thought the keeper blocked Gerrard's pk...then reality set in.

Finally watched the match. Good win. And, I can't believe I'm saying this after a 4-0 win, we need to tighten up on defense, Lloris had some GREAT saves today. But too often. We're they getting behind us. I know it wasn't the normal back line, but it had me a bit worried. Teams like Arsenal, Chelsea and the like would have capitalized on several of those opportunities,

If anybody listens the " Fighting Cock" podcast came out yesterday. So what's the prediction on the line up tomorrow I know Ade isn't traveling. Has Defoe left already or is there a chance he continues his Europa domination ?

I believe that Defoe is gone. I figure Soldado gets the start....he needs some reps to hopefully get him out of a season-long slump....and I'm sure Kane will be there.

Just read that Ade, Lloris, Dembelle, Kaboul, Walker and Lennon are all not going to be available for this match as well as Defoe, Lamela, Sandro and Chirches all out with injury. Good god why don't we just bring the entire U21 team?
So
Soldado
Bentaleb, Paulhino, Ericksen
Chadli and Capoue
Naughton, Dawson , Jan and Fryers
Dreidel

I would like to see McEvoy and/or Veljkovic get a few minutes if possible I don't really get to see the youngsters play. I'm guessing Kane will sub on for Soldado later.

I thought I read Siggy was hurt too otherwise I want him to get some minutes in a CAM role. Or just minutes period.

After seeing these other teams missing PKs you have to give Soldado credit for knocking them in every time. Once he figures out how to score away from the PK spot we'll be laughing

We've got to get production out of this squad today. Good news is I think we've got plenty enough talent to do it.

If we come out with the proper result it will be great that our guys were able to get some extra rest(especially Walker, Adebayor, and LLoris)

Tottenham Team: Friedel; Naughton, Dawson, Vertonghen, Rose; Bentaleb, Capoue, Paulinho; Chadli, Soldado, Townsend.

Subs: Archer, Fryers, Veljkovic, Eriksen, McEvoy, Onomah, Kane.

Strong lineup. Looks like we are going for it!!!

Soldado choked big time. Chadli once again failed to convert chances as well. We waiting to long to get Eriksen in the game. Now we have to get the win 2-0 or 3-1...sucks.

1-0 at least gets a shoot out. I think we win 2-0 at home though.

It's too bad soldado and chadli couldn't finish their chances. If we start our PL starters I think we'll be fine.

Friedel had some great saves today.

It was pretty damn close to a premier league side, except for lloris and Ade. Maybe one other im not thinking of, but we fielded a solid lineup. No excuses.

All aboard the Excuse Train:
-Lloris (Doesn't change anything Friedel played great)
-Walker and Kaboul instead of Naughton and Dawson. Our right side was getting worked by #10.
-Lennon on the outside would be better than what Townsend gave us. He was bad today and had a lot of wasteful shots.
-Having Eriskens play the whole game would make a difference he made an immediate impact on the game today.
-Dembele has been running our midfield we missed him.
-Ade has scored all of our goals, we definitely missed him.
-The pitch was shite. We'll have the pristine surface of WHL next game. And they'll actually have some motivation to play

Even with everything I said they should have played better and won. They really looked disinterested. COYS

I was saying that could be our first team any given week. I think Ade puts that ball in goal though.
