Gerardo Martino (NOT AVB) has been hired to manage Barcelona. And Bale was at training this morning as seen in this video, so I'm not too worried now about reports of his supposed transfer request.

If its not true, and I assume right now it's not, then it's likely Marca/RM just causing trouble... If that's the case, I'm guessing Levy just raised the asking price for a RM transfer to something just short of infinity.

Sounds like he's okay. Is there any reason to be worried that we are sucking so badly in these preseason friendlies? Clearly, AVB is trying out some different things, but aren't other teams doing the same?

The first half looked pretty good. 
Really, Jozy missed a few that he should have scored in the second half and that would have made the scoreline even worse.

Glad Vertonghen is alright! Guy is a beast on defense and will probably be my favorite Spurs player after Bale leaves
