Need help choosing where to live "best hunting & fishing will decide"

I'm Opps & sales for a oilfield service company in tx. I can live anywhere I want, as long as the money is coming in. My wife is up for a promotion. Catch is we have the choice of marksville & new roads as her office. 30 mins anywhere around either area is fine. So which is the better nugget of La Paradise. New Roads or Marksville 
P.s. going fishing on caddo in the am frog, double watermelon red wacky worm. Slot fish here I come!!!!

Not yet, both jobs are permanent offices tho. Wife & I are done practicing. She went to the mysterious lady parts doctor & got the go ahead to start trying.

Lake Larto or any of the other river/lake systems out does anything New Roads has to offer.

Marksville is my thought. I have a lot if family from pineville to marksville. Her family is from north red stick through Jackson. The new bridge helps a lot with here seeing here side. Both sides are great & very avid hunters & fishermen.

Her office in new roads actually over looks false river. She could flip from the bank during work. Her office could be a boat launch.

I'd have to say Marksville then, if you are having kids in school one day. Classrooms are probably not as dark up there.

Charter school. Right down the road from marksville. But, hell everything is down the road in avoyelles

How is the government land, state, & WMA's around both area's. Bow, rifle, & shotgun. I deer, duck, & squirrel hunt. Pirogue & climb.

New Roads. But I'm partial since I live on False River. But Marksville is a solid option as well. I could be happy in either. I'd suggest looking at St Francisville.
