Vidal is an elite CM, one of the best in the world. It would be a massive signing for united.

Today's rumor mill:

- Atletico is all like "stop going after Mata, you guys!" We'll give you first option for Costa (great, a straight up striker) and Felipe Luis (better) if you do. LINK

- Dante said he wasn't going to leave Bayern unless they told him to leave.

NBC sports is reporting there has been a provisional agreement of 65 million US dollars for Juan Mata to United based on two things. We must make a formal bid and Juan Mata must express he desire to leave Chelsea to Jose.

Atletico loves the first option.

Liverpool fans should be excited by the prospect of Diego Costa moving to United. He'd quickly replace Luis Suarez as the most hated player in England.

I spent most of my evening attempting to put a felt black goatee on Moyes with Photoshop.

Watching the highlights, or lowlights, on ESPN FC right now. I've never seen such horrible PKs in my life. BTW, isn't it a bit of a distraction for SAF to be there for every game?

this sounds like something that could happen at any SEC school:

call 911 and ask to speak to former coach

but the best part is the tweet from one of the Manchester police stations:

quote:

Football found in Chorlton; early investigations suggest it may belong to Phil Jones ;/

posted in another thread but apparently Moyes didn't even select the PK takers. volunteers were taken.

I'm not a moyes hater by any means. He's obviously had his troubles but I expected that and will hold my judgement till the end of the season.

However, SAF would never have taken volunteers. He would have went into a second leg semi-final knowing who was going to take the pens. He would have told them prior to the match and made adjustments if need be. Taking volunteers? what? is this high school?

i saw a couple of ex-players say that was standard operating procedure. not sure if that's true or not, but speaks more to Evra, Valencia, Chicharito etc. not stepping up than it does Moyes.
