yes. absolutely. I'm beginning to think we might actually dole out £50+m for Suarez. regardless, we'll sign at least a defender.

Different situations based on contract status and injury history. They were the two best players in the EPL last season.

Not so sure you were willing to give him up... he told you he was leaving. I'm still amazed you got what you did for him...
IMO Suarez is the better player... but I'm at the point now, where I hope you come with £55mm.. I trust Brendan to spend that well..

RVP was on the last year his contract , had an injury history, was three years older than Suarez, and up to this point at least, had been more vocal than Suarez about wanting to leave

He is also an uncontrolable animal and a PR nightmare. He's in it for himself. Arsenal is definitely a team. He just doesn't fit. He won't click. Don't waste the money

According to all reports Suarez is a great team mate. Trains extremely hard and never quits during a match.
The PR stuff is understandable, but I trust in Wenger to muzzle him.
