Thanks guys saw it on USA and recorded the match. Sunderland was awful, anything but 3 points would have been shitty. Now, I'm no wenger but if been saying give ozil rest and start rosicky. He brings an up tempo to the squad. If you noticed we had been getting slow starts recently. Well rest ur player that is leggy, start the guy that is like the damn entergizer bunny.

Why Dandy.. why do you have to torment me so?

Like Draxler if you can get him, get him. Too much quality to ignore.

honestly you dont really see that shite from other clubs. I know it can be frustrating at times.... the whole walk the ball in the goal, but when it comes off, simply amazing to watch.

Closest to that incredible Argentina goal I have ever seen.

It can be very frustrating, but when it happens it is like a symphony.

I still think the Norwich goal earlier in the season was better.

Love that GIF! Just so happens that Wenger confirms that Rosicky has agreed to a contract extension with the club that will be announced soon. Great news as I love having Rosicky in the team. He just brings so much to the table that we need to keep going forward!

Something I saw made great sense, the younger guys like gnabry and ox could really learn from a guy like rosicky. Always nice to have a guy like that at ur club.

Isco is a No. 10, no?

Is Wenger betting on two of Ramsey-Wilshere-Ox being the pivot of the future?

I know it's just talk, but I would think we'd be linked to a CM at some point, instead of continually seeing us linked with similar players.

I wonder if Sanogo can be an Ox type of buy. I seem to remember there being some backlash against Wenger buying "another" young talent when the side needed a proven player, but Ox is the guy I'm most excited about in our squad for the future.

Maybe Sanogo can develop into that same kind of striker.

I hope. He looks like a beast, and played rather well against 'Pool and 'Munich, two of the better sides in Europe.

I really hope we ship out Podolski this summer. He's a luxury player for us who really doesn't fit our system. I like him, but if he doesn't score he's had a pretty poor game. If he could start playing on the wing like he did last season, that would be awesome. I remember in the West Ham game he had 1 goal and 4 assists, and he was awesome. He once would go towards he touch line, but not anymore. He wants to be involved in the intricate build-up play but he literally can do nothing but finish from the middle. That's fine, but he doesn't get into good positions.

I wish we would get a big DM this summer, a real anchor who would could pass, and defend, which was we need from that position. What I want is the rare DM/DLP hybrid, and those types of players, like Ramsey, are actually better up the field closer to goal. It's a hard combo to find.

arsene has been hyping sanogo up recently (even before the 'Pool and Bayern matches) so I guess he's showing out in practice. he looked so much better than the current version of Beowulf. considering how Giroud started the year and how he performed Saturday, it's quite possible that fatigue was holding him back. he never quit running saturday, which resulted in his second goal as well as a great overall performance. if sanogo can play every third match, or something along those lines, that will improve Giroud's play IMO.

i'm with you on poldi, as i've said for awhile.

stewie, i'm pretty pumped about both Ox and Gnabry. i think Gnabry is better than Ox was at 18, but Ox has just a little bit more pace which might make him the better prospect. he's gotten a lot better over the last two years so that athletic advantage has combined with more skill and awareness.

I think Podolski has been really good lately, actually. No need to send him off. We don't need the cash, really, and he's good depth on the wing and up top if needed.

We need to upgrade/replace Arteta. I love the guy, and he's still got some left in the tank, but he's about to be 32. If the double pivot of the future is two of Ramsey/Wilshere/Ox, so be it. We'll still need another guy in there, and I think we'd be better for it.

Is Diaby's future health completely hopeless?

Yeah, but he's far more flexible than Mesut and is certainly capable of scoring, in addition to providing.

I think that he'd fit in pretty well. More plug and play at Arsenal than Mesut.

i think it's safe to say we shouldn't expect him to ever contribute again. a real shame.

Really watch his off ball movement. It's terrible. Rarely if ever does he make a forward run without the ball. It's just not good enough. He clogs the space and then doesn't really do anything other than shoot. When's the last time he made a key pass, or a cross? I realize he's been injured for awhile, but his movement has been bad since he got here.

Yeah, his movement is terrible, but I'm willing to keep him around as depth. Having a guy who can put a goal in the back of the net or create corners with every shot is pretty valuable in the 80th minute.

That said, I would like to see us invest in a pure winger who can get to the touch line, make runs into space, and stretch the defense. Is that really too much to ask for? Maybe Ox can do that but he's pretty good centrally/cutting inside. I'm thinking someone more in the mold of Theo.

ETA: Stoke being classy, as always.

U-19s team to play Shakhtar: Iliev, Bellerin, Pleguezuelo, Siemann, Ormonde-Ottewill, Kamara, Maitland-Niles, Zelalem, Toral, Akpom, Gnabry

our u19 squad is in the last 16 of the European competition. pretty strong side. somewhat surprisingly, zelalem has been pretty meh when playing with the youth teams. kamara apparently has looked very impressive at CM lately.
