Would anyone be interested in doing a 1-star dynasty on the 360? I'm fine with running the dynasty, just wondering if there is enough interest to make one.

Rules
--No nanos. No cheese plays. Keep your linemen on the line during pre-snap. No running the prevent D (Dropping 10 guys back) unless it’s the last 2 minutes of each half. No chew clock until the 4th quarter. Pretty much play as realistic as possible. Everyone stays at their original 1-star school and tries to build them up.

Start date: ASAP
Platform: 360
Difficulty: Heisman
Recruiting: Heisman
Quarters: 5:00
Helpers: Off

Membership:
1. Col Reb is my mascot (MulletMan10) - ODU
2. McRebel42 (Luck de Irish) - Memphis
3. tigerclaw10 (Blizzy2580) - North Texas
4. oauron (LeafyBug07) - UL Lafayette
5. ye white rabbit - Texas St
6. RTR America (SoD GreenB3ar) - FAU
7. JLock (JLockk) - South Alabama
8. Willits479 (Merkin Monks) - Mid Tenn St.
9. WhistlinDixie15 (A Techno Hippo) - Washington St
10. GatorReb (Colonel Reb 10) - UTEP
11. TbirdSpur2010 (TexAggieTbird10) - UTSA
12. JAE20 (JAE20) - FIU
---------
Waitlisted:
13. RJYH (PeezyTheLon) - UAB
14. jiffyjohnson (jiffy824) -

Respond if you'd be interested.

I'd be interested in running Memphis.

Also a lot of this depends on how fast you plan on moving weeks ... if you were going to give it an IRL week to allow people to advance their school in their own time and not rush it then I'm definitely down.

I'd probably advance it once every 2-3 days, depending on how fast people were moving. I'd try to time it to get 1 season a month, nothing too fast.

Look I'll try then ... 2 days would really be pushing me though, I could live with 3, but if you were flexible and advanced it went you could even if it was that everyone was done in 1 day but held up if I as example needed an extra day that would be great.

I have just played it with impatient people to much and they are always advancing it on me too fast and never giving me time to do anything (I MEAN I DO HAVE AN ACTUAL LIFE TO LIVE FIRST) and it always got to the point that I said frick it and quit.

I PROMISE TO TAKE CARE OF IT AS QUICK AS POSSIBLE so it won't be an issue but please work with me if something is up and please don't advance it on me without letting me do my thing first.

If you can do that I'll be in this for the long haul brother.

Heisman/Heisman or Heisman/All-American

Probably Heisman/Heisman but I'll give people a week or two before we start so people have some time to buy the game and get used to it. If recruiting is ridiculously hard or something like that, I'll bump it down to all-American.

And McRebel, sounds good. I agree, everyone has an actual life and I don't plan on advancing unless everyone is ready. I'll also set up the scheduling to be 1 hard game (think Boise, Michigan St, etc...), 2 user games, and then 1 easy/medium (Colorado, UVA, etc...) game depending on how many conference games you have.

Thanks man ... really! I always try to play the Online dynasties but never can really get into one because of this issue. But like I said I'll try to knock it out as quick as possible.

Wait are you going to have everyone of these teams in the same conference are you just going to let them be where they fall.

Honestly it doesn't matter to me either way but I do like the idea of just letting the chips lay where they are though ...

ETA: NVM ... that's not really fair though

ETA2: GT = Luck de Irish

No everyone will not be in the same conference. Just lay as they fall, makes replacing people easier and makes it easier for people to do well in their conferences allowing for faster and better team growth. I won't be touching the conferences at all.

What does this mean?

No cheese plays.
What Constitutes a cheese play?

Keep your linemen on the line during pre-snap.
Again what do you mean here exactly?

No running ANY streaks out of the backfield, including RB, WR TE and FB.
Do you mean wildcat plays? Please explain a little more, thanks.

No chew clock until the 4th quarter.
Why not a team that is run heavy would do this IRL.

What about HUNH Offenses?

I like running those with the read options. (Ole Miss to the core )

I'm really pumped for this and I hope more join up.

Nanos:
In last years game, it was a cheap way to blitz where it was impossible for the offensive line to block the pass rushers (2-3 players would automatically break through the line without the o-line even touching them)

Cheese Plays:
An example would be in last years game when you could pump-fake backwards, causing an all out defensive blitz allowing easy pass completions down field.

Keep linemen on line pre-snap:
See nanoblitzing

No running ANY streaks out of the backfield, including RB, WR TE and FB:
They fixed that in this years game, I'll remove the rule. Wildcat is perfectly fine.

No chew clock until the 4th quarter:
Yes teams do this in real life, but with only 5 minute quarters and chew clock, it's possible for 1 offensive drive to take up over a quarter, making the game much less enjoyable.

HUNH is awesome and definitely allowed, I will almost certainly be running it a bit myself.

Me too ... I really don't do anything but game if I'm not out actually doing other stuff or working. I have very little desire to watch tv and I get most of my news via the interwebz.

I want to do what you did and get both systems this time around.
