What are the chances that CBS picks up the LSU-Bama game in the prime time 7 o'clock slot? Just found out today that an old friend is getting married on 11/9. I'm pretty sure it's a day time wedding and I'm praying the game doesn't get the 2:30 kickoff. I saw that Bama-A&M is at 2:30, not sure what other sec games would be prime time candidates. Talk about ruin your day...

If a friend of mine was getting married on 11/9 I'd have one less friend

That's what's surprising about it...he's a huge lsu fan. Already know who's wearing the pants in that household. I just don't understand how someone can agree to that.

I have a friend who got a st louis cathedral wedding nov 2 because it was the only open date. Well it was open because every year that has been the bama game weekend. Everyone was pissed when they posted the date... then the game date was announced as the 9th. Lucky lil shits

It's really sad that people feel its more important to watch/attend a football game than to be a part of probably the most meaningful day in a "friends" life.

LSU plays 12-14 times EVERY year.

A person usually gets married 1 time.

Your friend cares about you enough to include you on a really special day.

LSU football players/coaches don't give a shite about you.

Just something to think about

But not enough to not get married the same day as LSU- Bama.

My wife's best friend got married on the lsu-bama game in '08 due to the game getting moved. When we found out I simply told her, "you realize I'm not going to the wedding right?"

I actually ended up making it to the reception after the game and drank my sorrows away.

Me and the brides cousin-in-law made it from BR to NO in about 45 minutes.

I believe CBS gets two weekends a year to schedule a double header, so they tend to pick the weekends that have multiple big games.

They'll have LSU/Alabama in the night slot and one of the following three games in the afternoon slot, depending on which matchup is most compelling

Auburn/Tennessee
Vandy/Florida
Arkansas/Ole Miss
