Mexico reaching a breaking point

Calls for De La Torre's head amidst real concern that they won't qualify. I love their tears so much.

When you say calls for his head, do you mean firing or a cartel hit?

They're going to qualify with 17-20 points

They've got 8 points with 4 games left, including one at the US and one at Costa Rica and they can't score.

They'll qualify but it won't be pretty for them if they continue to be inept at putting the ball in the back of the net.

Is that even realistically possible?

8 points in their next four matches would be a success. I coul totally see Honduras pulling a draw at Azteca and a loss against the US or Costa Rica on the road.

I could see us beating them, but if they don't pull together and win the other three, you can really say there's something wrong with that team. I think they are just in a slump right now. The talent that did so well last year didn't just disappear.

Mexico will qualify. Don't get me wrong, I would be frustrated and angry in their place, but they're going to qualify.

Mexico basically has 8 points with 3 matches left because the US is going to beat them.

Those 3 matches aren't easy either. They could easily draw a couple of those.

4th place is a real possibility. They could finish 5th if some crazy stuff happens.

I hope the cartels bomb the national team.

At the very best (for them), they could drag a point from us in Columbus.

They'd need to win out from then on to get to 17 points.
