Why the hell won't they release something other than cherry-picked excerpts?

Issa released cherry picked excerpts. Cummings released the entire transcripts. LINK and LINK

Clearly Cummings released the entire transcripts which are favorable and Issa released selected excepts which are favorable.

I say release them all.

He is a POS for leaking all the transcripts of ANY investigation

I see as usual you just ignore what you want when replying.

And you ignored the fact that Issa leaked part of transcripts. Yet you call Cummings a POS and have nothing to say of what Issa did.
quote:

An investigator leaks ALWAYS IN EVERY INVESTIGATION.... DO YOU GET THAT ? Its about bringing forth witnesses and jarring info lose and getting to ALL the facts that will then all be displayed at the end.

This isn't some FREAKING STUPID political game !!! this an investigation to right the wronged done by the IRS and IMO led by the WH.
You think Issa leaked some to jar info loose. Why didn't he link some of the transcript of what Cummings leaked?
quote:

Do you really think if the congressman was trying to get to the bottom of who did what to whom he would signal the people being investigated all the questions and answers ? REALLY
Having an unbiased look at a situation doesn't mean going easy on someone.
The hearings of the House and Senate were public. Were they not trying to get to the bottom of this?

Yeah you're unbiased.

I'm a Republican, and I'm saying to you that Issa is a partisan hack just like Cummings. He ran his mouth about the press secretary being a "paid liar" and then expects us to believe that he can run an impartial investigation?

I think a special prosecutor is an inevitability and the absolute right course of action.

Are you stupid too ?

All investigators leak SEE REAL LIFE COP SHOWS ( FIRST 48 ).

But NONE ( who's trying to get to the truth ) release ALL their information. PLEASE people quit being naive hacks.

Demonstration of cop being like both Issa and Cummings below.us

Issa puts word on the streets that they have talked to suspect # 1 and needs to talk to suspect # 2... Suspect 2 doesn't have a clue if suspect 1 ratted or not and hopes he can go in and be evasive , cops might already have enough to arrest him , or they might still try and trick him into a confession , either way the cops have still got all the advantage. Also by putting this small amount of info out some witness might come forward.

Cummings puts out word on the streets that they have talked to suspect # 1 and he has told them suspect # 2 murdered a guy in a robbery .... SUSPECT # 2 heads for MEXICO

Or supercop Cummings puts out word that suspect # 1 came in and wouldn't SAY A THING TO POLICE but he wants to talk to suspect # 2..... Who now comes forth with the knowledge that his friend didn't say anytyhing , so when questioned he tells the cops to go to hell.

THIS ABOVE EXAMPLE IS HOW STUPID people are that think both, that no leaks are needed or that everything should be released...... Ignorance is bliss.

Seriously "Crazy", you were watching the Donna Reed Show and took that to be realistic view of life in 50's/early 60's America? No wonder you have such a problem with etymology. Seriously "crazy" it wasn't like that, men and women slept in double beds, together.

You missed the freaking point.

Grownups put forth good examples both in real life and on TV , now in primetime , in front of kids you have every sexual innuendo you can imagine.

I haven't watched a TV series since the early 80s.

Also I stated watching that song on youtube “triggered a thought”of the decadence of todays society vs. 50 years ago.

You cherry picked a few words and ignored the rest. No where on any post have I ever said anything different.
Why do you have a problem with this? It is exactly what Cummings did and you accept it as gospel.

Question: Suppose that they agree to release all of the transcripts (no cherrypicking, no edits, etc)?

If they release them to the public and the transcripts shows clear "evidence" that someone was directing all of this (say it is Lerner), how would anyone be convicted in a criminal trial? The evidence would prejudice any jury in a really bad way.

Nah.
They released all the evidence that George Zimmerman ran down Travon then shot him execution-style.

I'll bet GZ still walks.

A quick question: do you want for an investigation to prove that Obama used the IRS as his own personal political tool?

I want a special investigator appointed so they can follow the trail to WHEREVER it may lead. I don't care if that trail leads to Obama, Bush, or JK Rowling.

I don't see any of it as a crime except lying under oath. And if the idea was to protect the record then why did Issa choose to release parts? Why is it proper for him to cherry pick and go on TV and not Cummings?

Vegas, I agree 100%.
Unless there is a damn good, nonpartisan reason to only release select excerpts, these guys need to release full context or STFU.

I want them to release everything.

Is it not a crime (civil rights at least) to discriminate? What if some IRS agent took it a step further and leaked donor lists? This would be a felony. I'm a curious fellow.
