TIA

Honey Island Swamp Tour out of slidell is decent if you have never been to a swamp. Daughter's class went there a couple months ago. Daughter says to me about 30 minutes into it "Dad, we can see and do all this in Venice at the camp."

I would think you would get more of a marsh tour around New Orleans, but I might be mistaken...

You take him, and I'll take his girlfriend/wife...not much room...she'll have to sit on my lap.

SlickRick, what does your significant other look like? Pics?

my son wants to go on one as well, but I want to avoid the tours that are gimmicky tourist traps. Not sure what I'm even looking for. . . he and I both see gators and all sorts of wildlife fishing in the marsh.

We pass through Kraemer when we go to Grand Isle, so maybe one of the tours down there?

I think an airboat tour would be pretty cool too.

Have two friends who run boats out of Cajun Encounters in Slidell.
They earn about $300 a day in tips from all the crazy shite they do for the guests.
Recommend Eric Dumas or Scott Walker.

Last year i met a guy who worked for Airboat Adventures in Lafitte while fishing in Arkansas. Don't know much about it other than he is one of the boat guys.

Most members here can offer a one-way tour.

Might even find one or two who'll offer a round trip.
