Great recruiter. Great coach.

He recruits good kids too--very little trouble from them and they play with inspiration.

It is really bright in here with all that sunshine.

Great person, but has some flaws he needs to fix if he plans on staying a few more years.

I'll say one of the best

I think Ray Tanner is better then CPM Just because he got to the title series three straight years and won it twice. CPM only once.

Just who would you have him emulate?

as long as LSU baseball doesn't fall apart he isn't going anywhere.

Some of you fans think miles is about to go because he isn't winning championships once every 4 years or something like that. the rants expectations are much higher than what their real expectations are. IF CPM continues to put one of the best teams in country on the baseball field and has success with them (making it to omaha at the minimum) he won't go anywhere and I don't want him going anywhere. LSU fans were spoiled by Football in the mid 2000s and baseball in the 90s and they expect championships all the time.

CPM is far from the hot seat.

I had thought he had

I forgot about that

oh well

stand by my statement CPM is one of the best but probably not the best in college baseball currently.

So, the question is - is that too much to ask - to expect championships?

we should expect us to be in competition for the title most years and hopefully win them from time to time.

but don't have expectations like the 90s.

If CPM can pull out 2 championships in a decade I will be very very happy.

What would want me to let go CPM is if he got to the NCAA every year but we didn't host but once every 5 years or something like that and we just make it to the NCAAs.

If CPM puts a top 8 seed team on the field year after year after year, there is absolutely NO reason to fire him. (he has done it two straight years, and we should be one again next year)

Everyone knew when there were 2 outs in the 9th and the north Carolina catcher goes out to the pitcher and says don't throw s strike this guy hit two to the warning track in the last game. Why didn't CPM tell the batter don't swing, they aren't going to give you anything to hit
