Exactly. Thanks for being a Tiger.

I say that to many of the athletes.

Mason is one of my favorite Tigers ever. I'll really miss him. From a scrappy, heady guy, to a really well-rounded, versatile leader, it was fun to watch his progression.

Katz goes down as another LSU legend. Wish he could have gotten a ring though.

He just paved the road for the future of this program. He proved that you don't have to be drafted in the 2nd round of the MLB draft out of high school to make something of yourself. He worked hard and became one of the best players to wear an LSU uniform.

He is going to be a poster child for coming to school and working your way into a future MLB prospect. Nothing was given to him, he earned it all.

I will miss him along with all the other seniors and players leaving.

i was at the presser when Paul was talking about his incoming class. he had all these glowing things to say about Raph Rhymes and a couple other incoming guys. he barely made a single mention of Katz.

goes to show how under the radar that kid was coming into LSU and how huge of an impact he had on the program

It's always sad when a class at LSU doesn't leave with hardware.

Would have loved for all of them to get the ring, man. They deserved it, I really think they did.

I think he got one in '09. I saw an interview where he said he played with some of those on the '09 squad. Maybe high school. Nevermind. Not trying to nitpick, I know what you're saying though.

I'm gonna miss that kid. And the others leaving. Lots of good kids on that team.
